Gun Milan Traditional System a failure in marriage astrology

Most of the traditional astrologers give preference to the “Gun Milan System” for matching the male and female horoscope for marriage compatibility.
Marriage compatibility is achieved based on the points derived out of gun milan system. The total number of points are 36 and the match with maximum number of points is given preference.
The traditional gun milan system is not more than a myth, many marriages fail in spite of successful gun milan.
When it comes to marriage compatibility of the male and female there are many other factors that need to be judged from their horoscope individually.
In traditional gun milan system importance is given to the eight factors that will help to determine the match making compatibility for the astrologer. The eight factors are Varn, Vasya, Tara, Yoni, Graha Maitri, Gan, Rasi, Nadi
one must do birth time rectification of every horoscope before analysis. Many astrologers either do not know the accurate method of birth time rectification or not willing to spend time in doing that.Once an Marriage Astrologer has got a chart for analysis he has to go through the chart and note the final list of major events that would have happened with the native and consult the native with the events if the events match with the analysis of the astrologer that means the chart is accurate, else the astrologer needs to rectify the birth time in order to match the major events of the native.

the asht koota gun milan theory is base less and i dont know how it became the part of astrology. By bringing such false theories into astrology we are spoiling the reputation of the astrology. I am sorry to say it because i see most the astrologers and traditional pundits follow the same pattern. They just refer to their panchang and make match making with gun milan system. many marriages broke every year inspite of successful gun milan. The point system in gun milan is baseless and i still dont know about its origin. Many astrologers still debate that the gun milan is accurate. So far i have only seen failures in the gun milan system. None of the astrologers have been able to convince me on the theory of gun milan.
I had matched some thousands of Charts for marriage, and there is not a single case of Failure.Probably the correct concept of Vedic Astrology is not understood by many persons [I do'nt call them an Astrologer] who have very little knowledge about Vedic Astrology, and go by the Chart of Gun Milan enunciated in almost all Panchangs, and say it matched perfectly with 32 points out of 36, and give green signal. That matching is given by the position of Moon in a Particular Star. This is only a prima facie factor to start with. For Matching two Charts for matching You have to see many more factors than only Gun Milan. You have to seperately see the Longevity of the persons concerned. You have to see the Dosha Samyam of the two Horoscopes, taking all the malefic Planets Sun, Mars, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu and week Moon, Mercury in Conjunction with malefic Planets. You have to See the Mangalik Dosha and its canecllation in Both the Charts. You have to see the Combinations for Extra marital affairs is present in the charts or not? You have to see the possibility of Love affairs present in the Chart or not? You have to see the Vimshottari Dasa in both the Charts are overlapping? and many more like this. In Total you have to study the individual Chart given for matching, thoughtfully with detail study and then match it. For this lot of patience, knowledge of slokas and experience is required for a real Vedic Astrologer, and any Tom Dick and Harry going by Gun Milan and saying it as matching is only giving bad reputation to the Science of Astrology. Our Indian Scientists called Rishis have done a yeomin service to Mankind which we are following without going into the inner meaning with which they have formulated.
The article is only about gun milan system which many astrologers follow blindly. In order to make a good match both charts of male and female have to be studied individually for all twelve houses like longevity, health, wealth, education, progency, profession, marriage and partnerships, gains and losses, diseases etc. Only after finding compatibility from all those factors and matching the dasha periods with agreement of timing of marriage and checking both horoscopes at the stellar level through stellar astrology compatibility one will be easily able to do a good match.
