There is no authentic Ravan Samhita , Bhrigu Samhita available

I was always fascinated by the Ravan Samhita. All these years I often heard a lot about Ravan Samhita that there exists a granth which has many mystical formulae for attaining super natural powers, astrological charts of people with accurate predictions, medicinal forumulae for treatment of chronic diseases etc.
I started searching for it hoping to find one. One day I saw an advertisement in a local panchaang. The advertiser made his best efforts to make the advertisement sound genuine to all the readers. I was told that after the years of long research the advertiser was able to find the original Ravan Samhita, and its hand written and available as a xerox copy and they are only selling it to genuine seekers for 2500 INR. I at once thought that price is not a problem to get such a granth full of age old wisdom.
I approached the advertiser and bought the Ravan Samhita and reached home very excited only to find that i was cheated by the advertiser and landed with a crap work in my hand. The entire granth turned out to be a compilation of traditional astrology and translation of uddisha tantra that too believed to be compiled by maha pandit Ravana. There were also some mantras related to Lord Shiva which are freely available at any bookshop. The only chapter worth reading was the biography of Ravana and his ancestors.
I shelled out 2500 INR for the Granth and left with no choice. The advertiser succeeded in cheating me and many others in the name of Ravan Samhita. In short with a bitter experience I have concluded that there is no such grantha called Ravan Samhita.
Ravan Samhita just seems to be an idea of couple of publishers to mint money. I also see the advertisements of original Bhrigu Samhita handwrittern available in xerox copy. Howerver I couldnt dare to make an attempt to buy it. One day i saw it at one of my friends home. When I read it i was conviced that it doesnt has anything new all the concepts mentioned in that Samhita are the principles of traditional astrology that are available in hundreds of books published by various publishers.
My sincere advice to all the students, practitioners, followers of astrology is “Dont get fooled by the publishers who claim to have original copies of Ravan Samhita or Bhrigu Samhita, all the claims made in the advertisements might be false. Dont end up loosing your hard earned money”.
Fifty Eight original Granths of Brighu Samihta are avalable with Sh. Mukesh Pathak before visiting Brighu Darbar on his phone number +919417224838 (M ), 01828-224838( R ). He is normally available on Friday & Sunday, but u need to confirm from him before coming. Anyone who wants to ask a question to Maharishi Brighu Ji Maharaj , needs to come in person. He is supposed to offer minimum Rs 200/- as Dakshina along with some fruits or sweets as per his choice. The person need not bring his horoscope to know about solutions to his problems in life. He or She is given a set of cards which contain questions relating to general problems in one’s life, each having 9 question , among which he can choose three cards / questions at a time. The answer to these questions comes in Maharishi Brighu Ji Maharaj’s Granth in Sanskrit , which is read out to him / her by Sh. Mukesh Pathak , the Vachak Putar ( the person who is empowered to read the granth ).

Ravana samithi is availble in sri lanka. Now it belongs to caste of sri lanka according to my idea. Anyway i am not a member of that samithi.
Ravan samhita some portion is available at vill-GURUVALIA ,Distt- KUSHINAGAR (U.P.). Presently it is being practised by Shri KAMAKHYA PATHAK his mobile no. is09838821171 or 09838614172. this samhita is being used by this family from generations. people who know visit there with there horoscope and get there prediction hand written in sanskrit within a day or two.The family doesnot allow anybody to copy or publish the manuscript.The same is kept with them from so many generations. It is no surprise that some people posses such classical works. To me, these are the property of mankind. The possessor must come out and let the world know the principle contained in these Old manuscripts. Otherwise it, to keep the treasure of astrology, is neither in the interest of the astrology nor the world. Astrology is termed as a bogus tradition because of the possessor do let the work see the light of the day. Their ture tribute to these great sait lies in coming forward and help to get published these books.

people should stay away from these things, these are kapal kiryas many families have these books ,they are tantrics ,i being an airline pilot suffered at the hands of a family from CHURU and BIKANER, who traditionally are Vyas astrologers and have these volumes of Bhrigu, these people sold my 3 houses,cars,destroyed my second
marriage and child, i experienced similar situation in Hoshiarpur, i was rppped off…………….much more to tell you…..
I am also looking for the rare manuscripts of ancient India though astrology is not my profession but yet i wish to read all these rare and original manuscripts as these books are part of our great culture. But after reading the experience of some of the persons here i will have to be really cautious in my approach. I personally feel that these books which are written by great Indian Saints belongs to the whole humanity and must be available to those who want to study these books or other similar books. This ancient Knowledge must be disseminated among the youth of our country so that they can understand about the richness of our culture. Not only the books on astrology but also on other subject which were written by the ancient seers should also be available to the masses.
Ravan samhita or its copy in the form of manuscript is supposed to be there with a brahmin family of guruvalia near gorakhpur, UP.Someone from this family is believed be the of main priest of king of nepal once and he pilfered this script or some part.They now are very secretive about it but they also consult people based on it where u can get some predictions and solutions of ur problems written in sanskrit. I have visited this place and feel this story may be true.
So it doesnt exist (ravana Samhita) ?? or if it does then we dont know who’s the genuine one,who actually knows bout this and help us out?? Coz,as per our shastras its a known fact that Ravana was the greatest astrologers of all time and He’s actually given all possible remedies for all possible astro charts!! so it all anyone who’s experienced this and cum accross sumobe like that then “please let me know.
